An international observer from Azerbaijan visited the Academy

Today, October 24, an important political event is taking place in our country - the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This is a major political event not only in our country, but also internationally. Therefore, the exemplary organization and conduct of these elections is closely monitored by international observers from abroad.

In particular, Javanshir Pashazade, a member of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and a member of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan interparliamentary friendship group, who is currently visiting our country, visited the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

The guest was warmly welcomed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Kamilov. Initially, the international observer was informed about the rare manuscripts, ancient sources, lithographs, the activities of the department, and the research work carried out by researchers in the "Treasure of Sources" section.

After that, a meeting was held between the leadership of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, Javanshir Pashazade, who wanted to get acquainted with the activities of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

During the cordial conversation, the guest was briefed on the activities, goals and objectives of the Academy, future plans, as well as reforms in the field of religion and enlightenment in our country. The sides discussed issues of friendly cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
