An extraordinary extended session of the Council of the Academy was held

The next extended meeting of the Academy Council was held at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. It was attended by the leadership of the Academy, members of the Council, deans of faculties, heads of departments, teaching staff and academy’s employees.  

The meeting of the Council was chaired by the rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, chairman of the Council Uygun Gafurov.

At regularly held meetings of the Academy Council, important and topical issues facing the institution are discussed in detail, situations awaiting resolution are eliminated, and tasks for the future are determined.

The rector of the academy, chairman of the Council Uygun Gafurov, opening the meeting, noted that it is important to eliminate the existing shortcomings in the current academic year.

Then, the rector of the academy, chairman of the Council Uygun Gafurov and the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work Ilyas Mirziyotov presented a speech on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Strategy “Uzbekistan-2030” dated September 11, 2023 and “On measures to implement the Strategy of Uzbekistan - 2030 in 2023 on schedule"

The rector of the academy touched upon issues that should be implemented at the academy in accordance with this document.

Following the meeting, important tasks were identified.
