Jamile Alamulhudo, the wife of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, visited the academy

Today, the Tashkent summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization was held in our capital. A number of foreign state and government leaders took part in this prestigious event. In particular, President Ibrahim Raisi of the Islamic Republic of Iran also participated in the summit.

 In this regard, Jamile Alamulhudo, the wife of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, visited the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. The distinguished guest was welcomed by the officials headed by the rector of the Academy Uygun Gafurov.

The distinguished guest was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulayho Makhkamova. Initially, the guest was informed about the scientific potential of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the faculties and their educational directions, and the unique approaches to imparting knowledge to students. 

After that, the Rector of the Academy expressed his satisfaction with seeing Jamile Alamulhudo in our country, in particular, at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. The Rector of the Academy acknowledged that in recent years, due to the policy of openness and transparency conducted in our country, close cooperation relations have been established with the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as with all the countries of the world. He noted that this opens the door to great opportunities for researchers.

In turn, Jamile Alamulhudo expressed her gratitude to the officials of the Academy for the high level of respect and hospitality. She highly appreciated the reforms implemented in the religious and educational sphere in Uzbekistan.

She acknowledged that Uzbekistan is a land of peace. In the future, she offered to establish practical cooperation between the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Iran’s higher education institutions and research organizations. At the meeting with the students of the Academy, the honored guest shared her practical recommendations on the way to acquire knowledge and then places given to women and girls in Islam.

At the end, a souvenir was presented to Jamile Alamulhudo by the authority of the Academy.
