The role of Zulfiyakhanim's literary property in Uzbek literature

Zulfiya, the beloved poetess of our people, is still remembered as an example for many girls with her creativity, edifying qualities and life-views. Every year in our country, the birthday of the national poet of Uzbekistan Zulfiyakhanim is celebrated in harmony with the spring mood.

Also, on account of the birth anniversary of the unique poetess the discussion on the topic "The role of Zulfiyakhanim's literary property in Uzbek literature" was organised at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

At the event organized by the Women's Consultative Council, Uygun Gafurov, rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan; Farida Abdurahimova, head of the Department of Religious Affairs; Farida Afroz, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, deputy of the Legislative Chamber the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Sayyora Toychiyeva, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, professor of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan; Aydin Abdullayeva, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, winner of the state award named after "Zulfiya"; Mukhtasar Karimova winner of the state award named after "Zulfiya", fourth stage student of the Academy, vice-rectors of the Academy - Ilyas Mirziyotov, Zohidjon Islamov; Munira Kahhorova, Head of the Department of working with youth, spirituality and education, Nargiza Shoaliyeva, Advisor of the Women's Consultative Council and other professors and students participated.

At the meeting, the topic "The importance of Zulfiyakhanim's literary property in the creativity of Uzbek girls" was discussed.

The speakers told the students about Zulfiyakhanim's life and work, exemplary events. Students got answers to their questions. Zulfiyakhanim's contribution to our literature, her exemplary life was narrated as an example to others.

In the collections of the poetess "Dalada bir kun", "Tong qo'shig'i", "Men tongni kuylayman", "Yuragimga yaqin kishilar", "Kuylarim sizga" the anthem of the Motherland and the lives of people who are working self-sacrificingly are joyfully sung.

The poetess also created an essay and an epic poem called "So'roqlaydi shoirni she'rim", "Quyoshli qalam", "Oydin" and a play and an opera libretto based on the the epic poems  "Semurg'" and "Zaynab va Omon".

The event with an elated spirit left a great impression on the guests.
