Representatives of the Valdai International Debate Club of the Russian Federation visited the Academy

At present, a conference on "Development and security threats at a new historical stage of cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan" is being held in our country in cooperation with the International Debate Club of the Russian Federation "Valdai". During this major conference, members of the “Valdai” International Debate Club will be able to visit the sightseeing places, historical sites and pilgrimage places of our country.

One such visit was held at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan. Members of the “Valdai” International Debate Club visited the Academy. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Academy and guests.

During the sincere conversation, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the Academy Zohidjon Islamov spoke about the conditions created for students at the Academy, the ongoing reforms in the education system. He noted that Uzbek-Russian relations are developing.

The guests visited the sacred sites of the Academy - the mausoleums of Shaykhovantahur, Tolabek (Kaldirgochbek) and Yunuskhan. The complex made a great impression on the guests. It was learnt about the history of the shrines.

At the end of the meeting, the guests thanked the Academy for the hospitality.
